Compromise Vs Sacrifice

Lets try to understand this by a practical example. For instance, If there is a poor child whose parents taught him, that they can't afford his education, then that child is bound to make compromise....on the other hand if he has one brother, and parents taught him that they can afford education of only one of them, then if that child take the decision to give this opportunity to his brother, keeping his own dreams at stake then this is sacrifice.

Now the difference is very clear.

Compromise is done when we have no choice and we are bound to make it., but in case of sacrifice we always have two options i.e. one for our own happiness and second for others. If we took the second option then it is sacrifice. Again, compromise is done for our own and sacrifice done for others.

In simple words..."Sacrifice is a compromise for someone else happiness."

Here is also a similarity. Both of them take us away from our desires and dreams but in case of sacrifice we can live our dreams with the eyes of that person for whom we have done sacrifice.

For some peoples there whole Life is a big compromise then literally, it is not a compromise, it is their destiny, their fate.
